Crypto.com has partnered with KG Inicis, South Korea's largest payment gateway and VAN provider, to bring crypto payment options to foreign visitors in the country. The plan includes launching Crypto.com Pay so travelers can spend digital assets on everyday goods and services at merchants and K-commerce platforms connected to KG Inicis. The companies also said they will explore additional collaboration, subject to local regulatory compliance.

Mastercard plans to buy London-based stablecoin infrastructure firm BVNK for up to about $1.8 billion, including $300 million tied to contingent payments. The move extends Mastercard's push into stablecoin settlement and always-on payment rails, following earlier initiatives that linked on-chain activity with traditional networks.
