What Is Paid (PAID) and How Does It Work?
Paid (PAID) is the protocol token for UsePaid, a Solana-based creator-fee collection and distribution service. UsePaid lets eligible recipients review creator-fee records, sign in with the entitled X account, and request manual distributions to a Solana wallet when assets are available in its portal.
The product separates fee collection, credit booking, a recipient claim request, worker processing, and on-chain confirmation. A request that is queued or processing is not the same as a completed payment. The current documentation also states that X Money payouts are paused, while eligible SOL or retained original-asset fees may be requested manually when available.
PAID is designed as a value-accrual token. It does not function as a governance, fee, or access token. UsePaid says that its protocol share of claimed fees funds open-market PAID purchases and completed purchases are burned on Solana. The mechanism depends on fees actually being claimed and on completed execution. Holding PAID does not change platform fees, entitle a holder to a payment, or unlock product features.
When Did Paid Launch?
A verified public launch date or token generation event date has not been published in the reviewed official materials. Public market directories added a PAID record in late September 2026. That record establishes a listing-record timeline only, not a confirmed project or token launch date.
UsePaid's current legal disclosure is effective 28 September 2026, and its manual-claim documentation uses an activation cutoff of 27 September 2026. These dates describe the current fee-claim program and documentation, not a confirmed launch date for PAID.
Who Created PAID?
UsePaid identifies itself as the operator of the site, fee-processing service, and PAID token. Its disclosures state that the service is operated by a private company. The reviewed primary materials do not name individual founders, disclose a place of incorporation, or publish a verified investor or funding list.
Readers should therefore treat founder identity, company structure, funding, and investor backing as undisclosed until the operator publishes verifiable information.
Paid Roadmap
UsePaid has not published a dated product roadmap in the reviewed materials. Its published status and stated next steps are limited to the following items:
Manual claims: Eligible SOL and supported retained original-asset balances may be requested through the portal when they are available and satisfy the platform's controls.
Claim-status tracking: The portal distinguishes queued, processing, submitted, and confirmed stages, which gives users a way to follow a request instead of treating submission as settlement.
Planned X claim command: The documentation lists an X-based claim command as planned. Tag-based claims are currently unavailable.
Cross-chain fee handling: UsePaid describes a model in which fees earned on supported routes can be moved to Solana before PAID buyback funding is used. Supported routes, timing, and execution remain dependencies.
What Is the PAID Token Utility?
PAID has a narrow stated role: it is the asset purchased and burned when eligible protocol allocations are executed. Its mechanics should be evaluated separately from a holder-rights model, because the documentation explicitly says PAID is not a governance token, fee token, ownership interest, revenue claim, dividend right, or access pass.
1. Buyback target: UsePaid states that 20% of a claimed fee event is recorded as a pending PAID buyback allocation. The protocol can then purchase PAID on the open market.
2. Burn mechanism: Completed purchases can be burned through Solana's token program. A completed burn reduces the token supply, while a pending allocation does not.
3. Treasury-fee treatment: The project states that PAID treasury fees fund buybacks in full. Returned or expired X Money funds follow a separate policy that allocates 50% to treasury and 50% to buybacks.
BingX market availability for PAID should be checked in the live trading interface before placing an order. A fresh directory check found an inactive PAID-USDT spot record and no verified PAID perpetual record, so this page does not present PAID as an active BingX market.
What Is Paid Tokenomics?
PAID is issued on Solana through the Token-2022 program. A direct Solana RPC read on 29 September 2026 observed approximately 930.43 million PAID units with six decimals. The same mint account reported no mint authority and no freeze authority. A null mint authority means the current mint configuration cannot create additional units.
UsePaid states that PAID has a fixed supply and that completed protocol-funded buybacks are burned. The token's supply can therefore decline when burns are completed. Pending buyback allocations and pending purchases should not be treated as completed burns.
Public market-data records conflicted materially on PAID's price, market capitalization, and trading volume at the time of research. To avoid presenting an unreliable live valuation, this evergreen page intentionally does not quote those figures. Readers should confirm the token mint and current market data before relying on a price display.
PAID Token Allocation
The reviewed official materials do not publish a detailed allocation table for team, investors, treasury, liquidity, ecosystem incentives, or vesting. The site describes two operational funding flows: protocol allocations and PAID treasury fees can fund buybacks, while returned or expired X Money funds follow a separate 50% treasury and 50% buyback policy.
These operational policies do not establish a full initial token allocation. Traders should monitor token concentration, treasury wallets, liquidity ownership, any future allocation disclosure, and any vesting or transfer restrictions before making a decision.
