Cango Inc. reported a $452.8 million net loss for 2025 in its first full year as a Bitcoin miner, alongside $688.1 million in revenue and 6,594.6 BTC mined. The company said the result was heavily affected by $338.3 million in non-cash impairment losses tied to mining equipment, even as it scaled its mining footprint to around 50 EH/s.

Citigroup reduced its 12-month Bitcoin price target to $112,000 from $143,000 and lowered its Ethereum target to $3,175 from $4,304. The bank's strategist Alex Saunders cited slower-than-expected U.S. regulatory progress in 2025 as a key factor behind softer assumptions for institution-driven ETF demand. The updated outlook also suggests some policy catalysts may not arrive until late 2026.

Bitcoin’s monthly Bollinger Bands have tightened to a record squeeze, a setup that analysts say often precedes sharp volatility and a potential breakout. Chart levels cited include reclaimed support at the 200-week EMA ($68,000) and 50-day SMA ($70,900), with a symmetrical-triangle target near $84,500. Onchain cost-basis data also highlights heavy supply accumulated around $83,000–$85,000, which could act as resistance near $84,000.

Bitcoin has pushed above $70,000, but analyst HAMED_AZ argues the broader structure remains bearish after price fell below the $79,000 support and stayed inside a descending channel. He says another rejection around the $79,000–$82,000 area could trigger a further 40% decline, placing a potential low near $47,000 and taking BTC below $50,000. Separately, Robert Kiyosaki said on March 16 that after a major crash he expects, Bitcoin could reach $750,000 and Ethereum $95,000 about a year later, alongside gold at $35,000 per ounce and silver at $200.

Bitcoin has posted eight consecutive green daily candles, extending a run of daily gains. Over the sequence, price moved from the mid-$60,000 area to above $74,600, clearing the $72,000 and $74,000 resistance levels. The candles reportedly show minimal lower wicks, suggesting limited intraday pullbacks during the streak.
