South Korean regulators have reportedly fined crypto exchange Bithumb 37 billion won ($24.8 million) and ordered a six-month partial business suspension. The FIU alleges the exchange failed to verify customers in 6.59 million cases and enabled about 45,000 transactions involving 18 unregistered overseas exchanges.
