Foreign investors sold a net ₹298 crore of Indian shares on Thursday, while domestic institutions bought nearly ₹5,000 crore even as the Sensex and Nifty fell.

Asian stocks rose Thursday after Nvidia's strong sales forecast lifted AI-linked shares, with Kospi jumping 2.22% even as Fed rate-hike bets grew.

FIIs remained net buyers in Indian equities for the second straight session on Tuesday, purchasing shares worth ₹1,593.53 crore. DIIs also stayed in buying mode, with net purchases of ₹230.26 crore, according to provisional exchange data.

The S&P 500 is on track for a 52% surge in aggregate second-quarter earnings from the year before, helped by a 74% profit jump in the technology sector. The figures include big mark-to-market boosts at Alphabet and Amazon, both of which recognised large gains in the period on investments in AI highfliers such as Anthropic.
