Bitrefill said it suffered a cybersecurity incident on March 1 after an employee's laptop was compromised, allowing attackers to drain funds from its hot wallets. The company said 18,500 purchase records were accessed and that the techniques resembled Lazarus Group, while it will cover the undisclosed losses using operational capital.
