BlockFills files for Chapter 11 in Delaware as liabilities cited up to $500 million

Chicago-based crypto lender BlockFills, operated by Reliz Ltd., filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Delaware, saying the voluntary process is intended to preserve business value and improve stakeholder recoveries. Court documents list assets between $50 million and $100 million, while liabilities are expected to reach up to $500 million. The filing follows a dispute tied to Dominion Capital and earlier client communications about commingled customer and corporate funds that reportedly led to a $77 million shortfall by end-2025.
