Infosys stock was under pressure on Friday morning, after brokerages largely turned more cautious following the IT company's Q1 results, citing the weaker-than-expected revenue performance, a sharper-than-anticipated guidance cut and signs of slowing growth momentum.

Motilal Oswal Financial Services reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,273 crore for Q1 FY27. Revenue from operations jumped over 25% year-on-year to Rs 3,426 crore during the quarter. The company achieved its highest ever operating profit after tax of Rs 1,513 crore. Its asset management business profit surged 73% to Rs 245 crore. The wealth management segment saw a 42% rise in Annual Recurring Revenue.

HSBC is one among the two major downgrades that Infosys has received after its results. The brokerage has downgraded its rating on the stock to "hold" from its earlier rating of "buy" and also cut its price target to ₹1,110 from ₹1,340 earlier.
